Or what ever its called on the outside of the orange once the peel is removed? What color do you paint it when its in shadow-I tried to paint it a bluish color and my wife said it looked like a mouldy orange. Any suggestions? Thanks Tom

Hi!
It all depends...of course! You want the same light (if possible) each time you paint...it affects color. You also want to experiment with your white paint on your pallet. Use a large glob of white and work the minutest amounts of color into little bits of it around your pallet...really little amounts, you can always make some with more as you go. Try all the colors in you painting. Amost nothing is white...and you want your painting to be harmoneous in color without being boring. Meaning...is your painting warmer (yellows) or cooler (blues/grays)? The main thing is look at the light and shadows and assign them colors...paint what you see, not what you think you should see!! Good luck |
