Hi.. I have been using Liquin for years and have just came up with a dilemma. The message below has been sent to Winsor Newton Tech Help US several times with no response. I just sent it to Tech Help UK, no word yet.. Can you help?
"Hello, I hope you can help. I have been using Liquin since the late 1980's and have not had any problems with yellowing or delamination. The problem I have now.. is that I started a painting (I paint in very smooth built up layers, using Liquin lightly as my only medium throughout) and a piece that I had to put aside for about 6 months I want to come back in and finish. Is there a barrier layer (such as retouch varnish) that I should use? Should I try and wet-sand it? I am concerned about the delamination issue and really dont want to mess up the piece. I appreciate any information that you could give me on this." Anyway.. any response would be great! Linda L |

I have copied your entire post and sent it to the technical people in the UK.
W&N seems not to have a good response time on queries through their website. Mark Gottsegen |
