Hello! Hope you get this. I know it is a while since you asked about info for M.Waugh. He was from the Appalachian mountain region of North Carolina. I was raised there and raised my children there, but did not know this Artist personally because he was from a different era or the 1800s. It is a beautiful place, but I did not like the long cold snowy winters. I live in Tennesee now near the Mississippi river. I do not believe Waugh was a well know artist, but I have seen only one picture by him. Hope this helps. So you have one of his paintings?
