My question is what are the pros and cons of gloss, semi gloss and matt varnishes. I know that gloss makes it hard to photograph because of the sheen. Any thoughts. Vicki

So why hasn't anybody responded to this question? I for one joined just to discuss this matter. I would love to hear from all of you acrylic painters!
I have some acrylic varnish that is glossy. I run into trouble using it on my textured works as it goes all foamy, (bubbley) on the texture...other than that I like it.
