Does oil paint separate from a canvas over time that has been primed with acrylic primers?

To give you the short reply, no, you should not expect the oil paint to separate from an acrylic primed canvas.On the other hand, one must be sure to apply the 'fat over lean ' principle.And of course, the medium used would be another factor to consider.
